The Wish

The unreal is more powerful than the real, because nothing is as perfect as you can imagine it, because it's only intangible ideas, concepts, beliefs, fantasies that last. Stone crumbles, wood rots. People, well, they die. But things as fragile as a thought, a dream, a legend, they can go on and on.

— Chuck Palahniuk

The Wish is the essence of godhood that lives in your own heart. It is the primordial Ouroboros—the beginning and the end biting its own tail to birth existence. It is the place within where you possess the capacity to create reality with the omnipotent power of a Wish. This archetype is traditionally called Judgment, not because we are being judged by an external force, but because we must all intimately eat the consequences of our own creative power. Recognize that you are not merely the hero navigating the cave; you are simultaneously the dragon, the treasure, and the cave itself. You are the dreamer waking up inside the dream, realizing that the “nothing” inside you is actually the miraculous force that creates everything.

The dragon only grants access to the treasure to those who no longer need to steal it. To open to the magic of The Wish, release the habit of wishing from a place of lack. If your desire screams that your current reality is insufficient, the flow of the Source cannot reach you. Lay down your specific agendas and sink into the luminous Emptiness of your heart. Trust that the true Wish isn’t a demanding cry for a different future but a deep resonance with the perfection of the now. When this archetype appears, let the life force move you, rather than trying to steer the river. The moment you stop grasping for control is the moment you become the hand of fate itself.
